KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – SWIM CAPTAIN 1. Leadership & Team Support Support the Aquatic Lead with the day-to-day operation of the Learn to Swim program. Provide guidance and support to Swim Teachers to ensure high-quality lesson delivery.



Assist with staff training, mentoring and maintaining program standards. 2. Customer & Family Engagement Build solid relationships with students, parents and guardians. Act as a key point of contact for family enquiries, feedback and progression discussions. Ensure all families receive a welcoming, positive and professional experience. 3. Swim School Operations Support the coordination of classes, assessments and student progression. Monitor lesson quality and assist with teacher coverage where required. Maintain a safe, clean and well-presented Learn to Swim environment. 4. Safety & Compliance Ensure all activities are delivered in line with Aligned Leisure policies and safety requirements. Report and manage incidents, hazards and customer concerns appropriately. Promote a culture of safety, professionalism and continuous improvement. 5. Customer Service Deliver outstanding customer service and create positive experiences for all students and families. Support the growth and retention of the Learn to Swim program through exceptional engagement and communication. The Swim Captain may be required to work a combination of mornings, evenings and weekends and undertake additional duties as directed by the Aquatic Lead.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

1. Relevant industry experience

2. Swimming and Water Safety Teacher Qualification

3. Teacher of Infants and Toddler Qualification (Desirable)

4. The position will be subject to relevant pre-employment checks such as a Police Check and must maintain a current working with children check

5. The successful applicant must hold or be willing to attain first aid and CPR qualifications
