Supermarket Cashier – IGA Dallas
IGA Dallas is seeking experienced Supermarket Cashiers to join our team. This role is suited to candidates with previous supermarket checkout experience and strong fruit and vegetable knowledge, who can work confidently in a rapid-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating checkouts accurately and efficiently
- Weighing, identifying, and scanning fruit and vegetables correctly
- Providing professional and friendly customer service
- Assisting customers with produce and general store enquiries
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation around checkout areas
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced supermarket environment
About You
- Previous supermarket cashier experience is essential
- Produce (fruit & veg) experience is required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Available for a minimum of 3 days per week
- Availability for at least one weekend day is required
