Working closely with the Venue Manager and Bar Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and quality control across both the FOH and Coffee bar.
This role is a perfect fit for someone with previous experience as a supervisor, or someone with experience in hospitality who's looking for growth ad potential future management roles, and who has experience behind a coffee machine as well as FOH.
Responsibilities include
- Assisting the management team with day-to-day cafe operations
- Leading by example and being coffee and customer service obsessed.
- Assisting with stock and internal process management
- Collaborating with the venue manager to effectively lead the team and improve processes and systems
- Assistant management of the business in the Venue Managers absence.
Applicant requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills: able to confidently talk with customers and employees,
and manage challenging situations as they arise in a professional manor
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and lead by example
- Ability to effectively supervise the team and report issues to upper management
- Willingness to get your hands dirty and roll up your sleeves
- Barista skills and previous specialty coffee experience
- RSA certification a must
