:

- minimum 3 years' experience providing application support, preferably on financial markets. A strong understanding of Futures and Options markets is desirable with experience in Futures Trading and Execution platforms
- excellent and wide-reaching technical skills enabling deep analysis and quick issue resolution
- experience working with business customers and translating technology into business terms and vice versa
- proven background in proactive identification of problems and implementing business process, data, application, or technology-related solutions
- experience handling Incident and Problems to ensure healthy and stable Production environments

Along with:





- experience of operating systems – proficient with UNIX and Windows environments
- support of applications running under Java/J2EE
- experience writing SQL queries and interacting with databases (Sybase/Oracle/SQL Server)

- supporting applications running in a cloud environment
- understanding of basic networking and different file transfer methods (SFTP, MQ, API)

- good knowledge of health/alerting tools and tuning them to tighten environment controls
- good knowledge of ITIL & Agile tools and processes (e.g., Remedy, JIRA, Confluence) for Incident/Change/Problem management

In this role you will:

- proactively monitor the system health and respond to alerts to provide high availability and performance of the application set including automation of health checks
- be responsible for the stability and maintenance of the Futures production environment
- identify and exploit opportunities to improve the production environment throughout our application stack

- Work closely with global team members in a follow-the-sun model.
