We’re seeking a reliable Sweeper Operator to join our Maintenance Team. If you enjoy working outdoors and taking pride in maintaining clean and safe streets for our community, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do:
Operating specialised street sweeping equipment, you'll play a key role in ensuring our streets and public spaces remain clean and well-maintained. From conducting daily vehicle inspections and safety checks to interacting with residents and supporting other Council teams, you'll take pride in delivering high-quality work while providing excellent customer service.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who values safety, enjoys working independently and is committed to making a visible difference in the community every day.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current MR, HR or HC Driver Licence
- Experience operating trucks or similar heavy vehicles
- Ability to perform routine vehicle checks and basic servicing
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Good communication, literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
