Position : System Controls Expert

Location: Sydney

Job Type: 4 Months Contract Role

Essential Functions of The Job

We are looking for System controls expert for a contract of 4 months role based out of Sydney

Qualifications Basic

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required from an accredited institution.

Skills and Responsibilities

- Working experience in Business Bank Lending division [with Big 4 Banks in Australia]

- Work with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate, document and validate technology risks of systems, business processes, policies, information and data;

- Support business in designing robust system controls to mitigate business risks & meet compliance and policy requirements

- Conduct risk & control assessments for system controls & provide recommendations for risk mitigation and improvements





- Ability to translate risk and compliance issues into business / customer focused solutions from system/ tool perspective

- Experience in information technology risk/ operational risk / compliance experience in a consulting / audit firm with financial services experience.

- Ability to draft target state of system controls and also identify gaps in the systems viz-a-viz existing controls setting

- Understanding of system architecture for business bank systems/ tools

- Builds and maintains effective relationships with key stakeholders

- Demonstrates superior verbal and written communication skills

- Demonstrates business knowledge and pragmatic approach to resolving issues

- Demonstrates a strong ability to persuade stakeholders, focusing on key benefits to all parties

- Experience in process mapping tool and working knowledge of GRC tool (preferably IBM open pages)
