Intrax Consulting Engineers are an Australian owned, mid-sized engineering company that provide an end-to-end service to our clients across a range of services including Structural, Civil, Residential, Building Services, Forensic, Surveying and Geotechnical Engineering.

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Adviser to join our Melbourne team on a maximum-term contract covering parental leave until February 2028. Managing a varied portfolio of technical and corporate vacancies across our national business, you will deliver end-to-end recruitment and partner closely with hiring managers to attract and secure high-quality talent.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can quickly build relationships, manage competing priorities and work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative HR team.

What You'll Do

- End-to-End Recruitment: Manage vacancies from briefing and advertising through to screening, interviews, reference checks, offers and onboarding handover.
- Technical Sourcing: Develop targeted sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for engineering, surveying and corporate roles using JobAdder, LinkedIn Recruiter and external networks.
- Business Partnering: Partner with hiring managers and leaders to understand workforce requirements, provide market advice and manage recruitment expectations.
- Candidate Experience: Deliver a responsive and professional experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Internal Mobility and Programs: Support internal recruitment, graduate and cadet programs, and broader initiatives that create career-development opportunities.




- Employment Branding: Work with the broader HR team to bring Intrax’s EVP to life through job advertising, candidate communications and recruitment campaigns.
- Reporting and Market Insights: Maintain accurate recruitment data and provide insights on candidate availability, salaries, market conditions and recruitment outcomes.
- Recruitment Administration: Maintain accurate records, documentation and recruitment processes in line with company requirements and relevant legislation.

Technically you will have

- A track record of success, recruiting in a high volume, fast paced setting. Experience in technical recruitment (Engineering or Surveying will be highly advantageous).

- Extensive use of ATS, JobAdder and LinkedIn highly regarded.




- Ability to build strong partnerships with internal and external networks, based on mutual trust and consistent delivery.
- Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across a variety of audiences.
- Ability to collaborate and work across a diverse and matrixed organisation
- Fluent in the use of Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
