About the role
Our Talent Acquisition team is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our White Collar recruitment team, based from our Subiaco office.
This is a corporate recruitment role with a broad portfolio spanning discipline Supervision, HSE, Quality, Project Support and corporate functions, alongside high-volume recruitment requirements supporting shutdowns and major project campaigns.
You will partner closely with operational and corporate stakeholders to understand workforce requirements, develop effective sourcing strategies and deliver the right talent within critical timeframes. A key focus of the role will be proactive candidate engagement — building talent pipelines, identifying passive candidates and maintaining strong relationships with people who may be suitable for current and future opportunities.
This role will suit someone who is highly driven and takes ownership of their recruitment activity. You will be expected to actively manage your pipeline, communicate confidently with candidates and stakeholders, and continually look for ways to generate the activity required to achieve recruitment outcomes.
Working as part of a collaborative Talent Acquisition team, you will have the opportunity to influence how we attract and engage white-collar talent across the business while supporting a diverse portfolio of operational and corporate recruitment requirements.
Key responsibilities include
- Managing end-to-end recruitment across project based white-collar and corporate functions
- Proactively sourcing and engaging active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, SEEK, talent pools and direct market engagement
- Building and maintaining strong candidate pipelines for recurring and future requirements
- Partnering with hiring managers to understand requirements and deliver effective recruitment strategies
- Managing recruitment activity and priorities to meet critical workforce deadlines
- Providing a high level of candidate care and maintaining strong communication throughout the recruitment process
- Using market knowledge and recruitment data to identify opportunities and improve sourcing outcomes
- Maintaining accurate recruitment records and ensuring system integrity and compliance
- Contributing to continuous improvement across Talent Acquisition processes and ways of working
About you
We are looking for a driven and proactive Talent Acquisition professional who takes ownership of their outcomes and thrives in a fast-paced setting.
You will be someone who doesn't wait for candidates to come to you. You enjoy searching, networking and engaging with talent, and you are persistent in finding the right people for the business. You will bring energy and determination to your recruitment activity and be motivated by delivering against challenging requirements and deadlines.
You will have
- Demonstrated experience in white-collar recruitment, preferably across operational and corporate functions
- Strong proactive sourcing and candidate engagement capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability
- A high level of organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A strong work ethic, accountability and determination to achieve outcomes
- The confidence and resilience to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
- A commercial and solutions-focused approach to recruitment
- The ability to build credibility with candidates, hiring managers and senior stakeholders
Most importantly, you will be someone who takes ownership, creates momentum and gets things done.
You are motivated by results, communicate with purpose and are willing to put in the work required to deliver the right outcomes for the business.
