As we continue to expand, we are looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Talent Acquisition Coordinator to help us attract, recruit and onboard quality employees across our business.
About the Role
This is a fast-paced, hands-on recruitment position responsible for coordinating the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process. You will recruit cleaners, supervisors, operational employees. You will work closely with our Operations and Business Support teams to understand workforce requirements, respond to urgent staffing gaps and ensure vacancies are successfully filled.
This role goes beyond posting advertisements and waiting for applications. You will actively source candidates, conduct screening calls, coordinate interviews, complete pre-employment checks and follow every vacancy through to placement and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple vacancies across cleaning, operations, management and business-support roles.
- Prepare and publish accurate, engaging job advertisements.
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, databases, referrals, social media and community networks.
- Review applications and shortlist candidates against position requirements.
- Conduct initial telephone interviews and candidate screening.
- Coordinate interviews, site meetings, trials and reference checks.
- Maintain regular and professional communication with candidates.
- Build active candidate pipelines for frequently recruited positions.
- Support urgent and high-volume recruitment across multiple locations.
- Work closely with Operations to understand vacancies, roster gaps, working hours and commencement requirements.
- Prioritise vacancies based on operational needs and client requirements.
- Support recruitment and workforce planning for new contract commencements.
- Monitor outstanding vacancies and provide regular progress updates.
- Escalate recruitment risks or delays before they affect service delivery.
- Coordinate National Police Checks, Working with Children Checks, references and working-rights verification.
- Ensure candidates meet all role-specific compliance requirements before commencing employment.
- Prepare employment documentation and coordinate the onboarding process.
- Work with Operations, Payroll and Business Support to establish new employees correctly in company systems.
- Confirm new employees receive their roster, site information, uniform and commencement instructions.
- Monitor new starters and assist managers with probation-related follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, employee records and internal management systems.
- Report on vacancies, applications, interviews, placements and outstanding actions.
- Track recruitment measures such as time to fill, candidate sources, commencement rates and retention.
About You
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, human resources or workforce coordination.
- Experience managing high-volume or blue-collar recruitment.
- Strong telephone-screening and candidate-assessment skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and urgent recruitment requirements.
- Confidence communicating with candidates from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience using recruitment platforms, Microsoft Office and workforce-management systems.
- Experience using Deputy and Monday.com, or the ability to learn current systems quickly.
- A sound understanding of pre-employment checks and Australian working-rights requirements.
- A proactive approach and the confidence to follow up consistently.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of vacancies through to successful commencement.
Experience within cleaning, facilities management, labour hire, hospitality, security or another service-based industry will be highly regarded.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is desirable but not essential.
- Previous recruitment experience is preferred.
