Talent Advisor

Location: Sydney, Parramatta or Gosford

Work arrangement: Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week on the office, and additional onsite attendance to other office locations as required)

Duration: Ongoing (3 x positions available)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Grade: Clerk Grade 7/8 ($113,574 - $129,492 per annum + super)

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will manage end-to-end recruitment activities and partner closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to deliver recruitment outcomes. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be trusted to take ownership of your portfolio, provide expert advice and build strong stakeholder relationships from day one.

We're looking for proactive and adaptable recruitment professionals who can quickly understand business needs, confidently manage a high volume of requisitions and balance competing priorities. While you'll have the support of an experienced and collaborative team, you'll also be empowered to take initiative, drive outcomes and make the role your own.

Depending on the portfolio you support, you may be required to assist with the delivery of assessment centres at various locations. As such, flexibility and a willingness to travel when required are important aspects of the role.

Your day to day:

- Deliver end-to-end recruitment services across multiple industrial awards, ensuring compliance with NSW Government frameworks, policies, legislative requirements and workforce standards.
- Partner with hiring managers to provide strategic recruitment advice and tailored workforce solutions.




- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract and engage high quality talent, including passive candidates.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, influencing recruitment outcomes through expert advice and trusted partnerships.
- Utilise recruitment data and insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members as required.
- Support onboarding and probity screening processes in accordance with governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

- Experience delivering end-to-end recruitment services in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
- Confidence providing recruitment advice, influencing outcomes, and ensuring compliance with recruitment frameworks and policies.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to take ownership and drive outcomes independently.
- Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail in both written and verbal interactions.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering a positive candidate and stakeholder experience.




- Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in an evolving environment with changing priorities.
- Experience within the NSW Government or knowledge of public sector recruitment frameworks will be highly regarded.

Salary Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $113,574 base plus superannuation
