? Intermediate: $90K–$110K package + bonuses

? Senior: $120K–$150K package + bonuses

QIX Consulting is partnering with established and growing accounting firms across Melbourne’s CBD outskirts and we’re looking to connect with experienced Intermediate and Senior Accountants ready for their next move in Australian public practice.

These are excellent opportunities for accountants who want broader client exposure, stronger advisory experience and genuine long-term career progression.

What you’ll be doing:

- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns across companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
- Preparing BAS, IAS and other statutory compliance requirements
- Managing and supporting a portfolio of business services and taxation clients
- Assisting with tax planning and business advisory matters
- Liaising directly with clients and the ATO
- Identifying taxation and accounting issues and providing practical solutions
- Building strong relationships with clients, managers and partners
- At Senior level, reviewing work and supporting junior accountants

What we’re looking for:

✅ Australian public practice accounting experience – essential





✅ Experience at Intermediate or Senior Accountant level

✅ Degree in Accounting, Commerce or related discipline

✅ Robust knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting requirements

✅ CA/CPA qualified or currently working towards qualification – highly regarded

✅ Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills

✅ Excellent attention to detail and organisational capability
