Taxation Accountant

We are currently seeking a Tax Accountant with at least 1 year of experience to join our dynamic and growing team.

As we continue to expand across Melbourne, we are seeking a dedicated and professional Tax Accountant to support our financial operations and ensure strong compliance, reporting accuracy, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with management and senior stakeholders, you will continue to develop your technical expertise while performing the following duties:

- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for all entity types, including companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
- Preparing Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets for all entities
- Preparing BAS, IAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, and Workers Compensation forms
- Managing indirect tax and compliance obligations including payroll tax and WorkCover
- Bank and loan reconciliations
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable




- Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
- Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies
- Assisting with internal reporting, budgeting, and business performance analysis

Essential Requirements

- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CA qualification is essential.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in taxation accounting or a similar role
- Strong understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Mandarin speaking preferred
