Position Details

Kearnan College is a vibrant PK–12 school of 300 students nestled in the picturesque town of Manjimup, approximately 300km south of Perth. The region offers a tranquil lifestyle with nature trails perfect for walking, cycling and outdoor exploration. Our new Early Childhood teacher will be a collaborative and contributing team member and an engaging educator who will develop respectful relationships with students and other staff members.

This is a temporary position for 2027. We are looking for someone to work full time in Term 1, and then 2 days per week (in the same classroom) for the remainder of the year.

Selection Criteria

Ability to plan, implement, assess and report on learning programs aligned with the WA Curriculum, EYLF and with consideration of the NQS.

- Ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support students’ academic, social, emotional, spiritual and physical growth.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both adults and students.
- Skills to contribute to and promote a strong staff culture and to work collaboratively with other staff members.
- Supportive of the Catholic ethos of the College.
