Position Information
Merrylands High School is a comprehensive high school in Sydney's Southwest with a growing population that currently sits at over 839 students. The school is proud to celebrate its cultural and linguistic diversity, with 87.3% of students having a non-English speaking background shared across a total of 45 unique languages. The school has 7 support classes, 3 multi-categorical and 4 autism classes. Selection Criteria
Approval to teach French and Spanish. Capacity to deliver effective, engaging and differentiated teaching programs to meet a diverse range of student learning needs.
High level communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work in a team environment and support whole school programs.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
