Selection Criteria

- Approval to teach Chemistry and Physics. Willingness to teach Biology.
- Demonstrated expertise in Science education, particularly Physics and Chemistry, with the capacity to deliver high-quality teaching that promotes academic excellence and supports students to achieve their personal best.
- Demonstrated capacity to use data-informed practices to monitor student progress,



identify learning needs and implement targeted strategies that improve student achievement, particularly HSC outcomes in Physics and Chemistry.
- Highly developed pedagogical expertise that engages students in meaningful learning and utilises assessment practices to improve student understanding, reflection and achievement.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively to strengthen teaching practice, student outcomes and whole-school improvement.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
