Position Details

We are currently seeking a qualified, enthusiastic, and passionate educator to join our team. The successful applicant will thrive in a team-oriented, faith-filled environment and demonstrate a commitment to student wellbeing and evidence based teaching practices.

Selection Criteria

Applications are invited from educators who can demonstrate the following selection criteria:

- Are fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.
- Understand the importance of developing positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
- Be organised, positive, enthusiastic and be willing to learn.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and work well as part of a team.
- Have a desire to help all students achieve their full potential through differentiated learning programs.
- Experience using PLD Phonics Program and Talk 4 Writing is highly desirable.

Qualifications Required

- Relevant 4 year tertiary qualification
- Have or be willing to obtain accreditation to teach Religious Education.

Applicants who are successful in achieving an interview will be provided with further information which they will be required to prepare for the interview. Applicants must have a current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of WA (TRBWA) to be eligible for appointment. Information is available from the TRBWA website.

On appointment successful applicants will require a Working with Children Check. Application forms are available at certain Australia Post Outlets throughout the State. A list of participating Australia Post outlets can be found on the Australia Post website. An application for a WWC must be made in person.
