Vine Digital is a specialist health digital agency. We have been shortlisted for the full redesign and custom WordPress rebuild of a large Australian healthcare provider's website, and we are looking for a senior technical delivery lead to run the engagement end to end: the delivery plan and client governance, and the technical architecture and security scope.

THE BUILD

Custom block-based theme with governed templates and editorial workflows. A 500+ practitioner directory with custom search. WooCommerce event ticketing and payments. Nine-language content. Integrations with a credentialing system, online booking, Microsoft Entra ID single sign-on, an enterprise DAM and the client's security logging platform.

Enterprise IT security requirements including WAF, SSO and MFA, IP-restricted administration, SAST/DAST, penetration testing, log forwarding, and backup and recovery targets. WCAG 2.2 AA and Core Web Vitals targets, and a fixed launch date. Hosting stays on the client's managed WordPress platform behind Cloudflare.

TIMING AND LOAD

Immediate start to support a shortlisted client presentation in Melbourne on 21 September, then approximately 11 months of build from October 2026 if we are awarded the work, plus an ongoing support engagement. The load averages 1.5 to 2 days per week across the project: around 3 days during discovery (October to November) and launch (July to August), closer to 1 day through the middle of the build. Day to day the work is remote, with occasional in office sessions in Melbourne.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Own the delivery plan, milestones, budget tracking, resourcing and client governance: weekly WIPs, fortnightly steering, RAID log, change control and sign-off gates.

Run discovery and technical scoping with the client's IT, marketing and clinical stakeholders.

Own the solution architecture, integration design, environments and deployment pipeline.





Own the client's IT security requirement set through build, penetration testing, remediation, UAT and launch, as the technical counterpart to their IT and security teams.

Direct and review the work of our in-house developers.

Manage the migration plan (1,200+ redirects), content load coordination and third-party vendors.

Coordinate WCAG 2.2 AA and Core Web Vitals delivery and evidence.

Be introduced to the client as their single point of contact.

WHAT YOU NEED

8+ years in digital delivery, including at least one enterprise WordPress build or replatform of comparable scale that you architected or technically led.

Hands-on enterprise WordPress depth: custom themes, block editor, ACF, WooCommerce, managed hosting, CDN and WAF configuration.

Experience delivering to an enterprise IT security requirement set: SSO (OIDC or SAML), WAF, penetration testing and remediation, logging, backup and recovery.

Healthcare, government or other regulated, procurement-led client experience.

Confident presenting to executive, procurement and IT stakeholders.

Fluent, native-level written and spoken English. You will be the client's primary contact and will present to hospital executives and procurement.

Based in Australia, and available to be in Melbourne for the presentation on 21 September and for occasional on-site sessions.

NICE TO HAVE

Kinsta or WP Engine and Cloudflare in production. Microsoft Entra ID integration with WordPress. WCAG 2.2 AA conformance reporting. Agency-side delivery experience. Melbourne-based.

HOW TO APPLY

Pay: $150.00 – $200.00 per hour
