About the role

Broken Hill Motor Company is seeking a Technician to become the technical backbone of our Toyota, Mazda and multi-franchise dealership. This is an opportunity to take ownership of technical performance, mentor developing technicians and work closely with manufacturer support teams to solve complex vehicle concerns.

Key responsibilities

- Diagnose and rectify complex vehicle faults across multiple brands
- Liaise directly with manufacturer technical support teams
- Maintain high levels of quality control and first-time fix performance
- Support, coach and mentor apprentices and technicians
- Assist in driving workshop efficiency and technical capability
- Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally
- Contribute to the future direction and success of the workshop

About you

- Trade qualifications in Light Vehicle Automotive Technology
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
- Experience within a franchised dealership workplace preferred
- At least several years of post-trade industry experience
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship




- The ability to mentor others and share your knowledge
- A proactive attitude and leadership potential
- Current Driver's License
- National Police Check
