About the Temporary Employment Register
We are seeking self-motivated eager learners and experienced candidates with a broad cross-section of skills, experience and qualifications to register for our Temporary Employment Register (TER).
The TER assists the Tribunal with filling temporary positions across a range of areas and may be offered for a period of up to 12 months initially, with the possibility to extend for a further 6 months, for a total maximum period of 18 months.
The majority of the opportunities are generally across the APS3 and APS4 levels working in Administration/Customer Service however other opportunities do come up in other areas.
Candidates should be aware that this is a register only and that you will only be contacted regarding your application if a vacancy arises that matches your skills, qualifications, and/or experience.

To be eligible to apply for the Temporary Employment Register:
- You must be an Australian Citizen.
- All employees are required to undertake an Australian Federal Police Check and may be required to undertake a Health Assessment.
If you are approached off the TER regarding a position, you
- Must satisfy any relevant mandatory qualification requirements or security assessment where applicable to the position.

Please note - we are in the process of implementing a new online Talent Management system therefore this Temporary Employment Register is open until 11.45pm (AWST) on 31 December 2026. All applicants will then be invited to resubmit their details via the new system.
