Jewellery Centre is one of Australia’s leading wholesale jewellery suppliers, servicing independent jewellery retailers across Australia and the South Pacific with an extensive range of chains, findings, earrings, pendants and fine jewellery.

Following significant investment and an exciting period of growth, we are looking for an outstanding relationship-focused Business Development Manager to join our Brisbane CBD team.

This is far more than a traditional sales role.

You’ll become the face of Jewellery Centre throughout Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, managing one of Australia’s largest independent wholesale jewellery territories. You’ll build genuine long-term partnerships with jewellery retailers while helping shape the next stage of growth for our business.

About the role

Based from our Brisbane CBD showroom, you'll initially spend time learning our business, products, customers and systems before transitioning into managing your own sales territory across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. Once established in the role, you'll spend a significant portion of your time travelling throughout your territory, visiting customers, attending industry events and developing new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

- Building and maintaining exceptional relationships with existing Jewellery Centre customers
- Regularly visiting independent jewellery retailers throughout your territory
- Identifying and developing new customer opportunities
- Presenting new product collections and promotions
- Working closely with customers to understand their businesses and help them grow




- Representing Jewellery Centre at trade fairs and industry events
- Managing your territory with a high level of professionalism and organisation
- Working alongside our internal sales and customer service team to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Achieving agreed sales and growth objectives

About you

- Strong commercial awareness and a drive to achieve results
- Confidence presenting products and discussing business with jewellery retailers

- The ability to work independently while remaining a strong team player
- A willingness to travel extensively throughout Australia
- A current Australian driver's licence
