Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort is currently seeking proactive and reliable Handypersons to join our team in both Full-Time and Casual positions. These roles are essential in ensuring our resort remains well-presented, safe, and welcoming for both guests and team members.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys creating a safe, well-maintained workplace for guests and colleagues alike. As part of our team, you'll be the go-to person for repairs and maintenance, working across guest rooms, public areas, resort facilities, and back-of-house areas to ensure everything operates at its best.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and resort facilities
- Complete painting, patching, and minor refurbishment works as required
- Oversee and support external contractors when required
- Implement and maintain the property's preventative maintenance program
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and operational issues
- Keep accurate records of daily tasks, maintenance requests, and service schedules
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company policies and procedures
Position Details:
- Full-Time and Casual opportunities available
- Flexible roster across seven days, including weekends and public holidays
- Additional hours may be available based on operational requirements
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):
Monday - Friday: $26.44 per hour
Saturday: $33.05 per hour
Sunday: $39.66 per hour
