Paid Media Specialist | Baby & Lifestyle | Melbourne

We’re looking for an experienced Paid Ads Specialist to take ownership of paid social across two established Australian baby and lifestyle brands.

This is a hands-on, commercially focused chance for someone who has a deep understanding of paid media, but also knows that great performance marketing is about more than chasing ROAS.

You’ll be joining an ambitious omnichannel business with meaningful media investment, a strong in-house creative and marketing team, and plenty of appetite to test, learn and scale. You’ll have real influence over how the brands grow, with the freedom to challenge existing thinking and make recommendations that directly impact the business.

The role
You’ll own the implementation, optimisation and performance of paid media across Meta and TikTok, while working closely with the wider digital and creative teams to continually improve acquisition and conversion.

You’ll:

- Own paid social strategy, implementation and optimisation across Meta and TikTok
- Partner with the Google Ads Specialist on YouTube strategy, creative testing and budgets
- Explore and test emerging channels including Pinterest and Reddit
- Build structured creative testing programs across UGC, influencer, social-first and brand creative
- Work closely with creative and organic social teams to identify opportunities and brief what should be made next
- Analyse performance through a broader commercial lens, looking beyond platform-reported metrics
- Understand how paid media interacts with expos,



showrooms, retail, CRM, organic and search
- Recommend where investment should be increased, reduced or redirected
- Report on performance, learnings and opportunities to senior management
- Use AI, automation and emerging tools to work smarter and improve performance without losing the human judgement behind the numbers

About you

We’re looking for someone with 5+ years of hands-on paid advertising experience, with a strong focus on paid social.
You’ll ideally bring:

- Deep Meta Ads experience and strong TikTok capability
- Experience with YouTube advertising and creative testing
- A background within DTC/eCommerce, ideally in a small to medium-sized consumer brand
- An understanding of strategy, and a willingness to execute
- Strong experience working with UGC, influencers and high volumes of creative
- A solid understanding of CAC, attribution, incrementality and customer acquisition
- The ability to turn performance data into clear, actionable creative direction
- Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to challenge assumptions
- A genuine curiosity about why customers behave the way they do, rather than simply what Ads Manager tells you happened
- Understanding of experience on working with a long customer journey
