No more night shifts! Our Renal Registered Nurses work anywhere from 7am to 10pm weekdays and 7am to 3:30pm on weekends. We are a super supportive and close-knit District team with an empathetic approach to our patients and their chronic complex kidney disease needs.
You will be well supported with on the ground technical training of different renal modalities including cannulation of fistulas and grafts, advanced assessment skills and case management. All you need is basic cannulation skills and CVAD competency to get you started!

As part of our Casual Renal Stream team you would work across our Renal Services as needed allowing you to travel across the district, make connections with the wider district team and assist our renal patients district wide.
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
A Tertiary qualification in Nursing with current AHPRA registration to practise as a Registered Nurse. Willingness to travel and work across all MLHD Renal Stream services as needed Ability to work independently as well as working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver protected patient care. Experience in renal care and/or competency in venipuncture and cannulation is desirable; however, training can be provided to the right candidate.
