Adecco is partnering with a leading provider of engineered solutions used across civil infrastructure, mining, transport, environmental, and construction projects to recruit an ambitious and commercially driven Technical Sales Representative to support growth across Regional Queensland.

With continued investment across infrastructure, civil construction, mining, transport, and environmental projects, this is an exciting prospect to join a high-performing organisation servicing major contractors, consulting engineers, government authorities, and mining operators throughout Regional Queensland.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in technical sales and business development, ideally within the civil construction, mining, infrastructure, engineering, geotechnical, environmental, or construction materials sectors.

You are highly motivated, comfortable working autonomously, and enjoy building long-term relationships with customers across multiple stakeholder groups.

We will also consider qualified engineers looking to transition from project delivery, design, site engineering, or consulting into a client-facing technical sales role.

You thrive in a field-based environment and understand what it takes to manage complex project sales cycles involving engineers, contractors, consultants, and procurement teams.

Preferred Experience

- 3+ years' experience in Technical Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Project Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Project Delivery
- Experience selling technical products, engineered solutions, construction materials, or infrastructure-related products
- Strong exposure to civil construction, mining, roads, transport, or government infrastructure markets
- Experience working closely with consulting engineers,



project engineers, site managers, and contractors
- Proven ability to generate new business and grow existing accounts
- Experience managing long sales cycles and multiple decision-makers
- Strong commercial acumen and relationship-building capability
- Ability to work independently across a large geographical territory
- Engineering qualifications in Civil, Geotechnical, Environmental, Mining, or related disciplines will be highly regarded

Highly Regarded

- Existing relationships with major civil contractors, councils, and engineering consultancies
- Experience supporting mining projects, road infrastructure, earthworks, rehabilitation, or environmental projects
- Knowledge of tender processes and project specifications
- Experience engaging with Tier 1 and Tier 2 construction companies
- Qualified engineers seeking a long-term career path in technical sales and business development
- Stable employment history demonstrating consistent career progression
