THE OPPORTUNITY

My Body Medical is creating something different.

We are a brand-new, purpose-built medical practice coming to Croydon in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, and we are looking for passionate VR General Practitioners to join us as we build our medical team.

This is an opportunity to become part of the practice from the beginning — helping shape the culture, patient experience and future of a modern healthcare destination.

WHY MY BODY MEDICAL?

As a GP at My Body Medical, you can expect:

- Guaranteed hourly rate OR 70% of gross billings, whichever is greater, for the first six months

My Body Medical is part of My Body Healthcare Group, alongside our established onsite dental practice.

Our dental practice has an existing patient community of more than 50,000 patients, providing My Body Medical with an established local healthcare presence and a wonderful opportunity to build connections within an existing community.

FINANCIAL SECURITY WHILE YOU BUILD

We understand that joining a brand-new practice and establishing a patient base takes time.

That's why we want our GPs to feel financially secure while they establish themselves.

Guaranteed hourly rate OR 70% of gross billings — whichever is greater — for the first six months.

We also recognise that every doctor's circumstances are different.

There is potential to extend the guaranteed income period for up to 12 months, where mutually agreed and appropriate.





Our goal is to give you the confidence to establish yourself without feeling pressured to immediately fill your appointment book.

OUR PRACTICE HOURS

Our planned clinic hours are:

Monday – Thursday
7:30am – 7:30pm

Friday
7:30am – 6:00pm

Saturday
8:30am – 3:30pm

Sunday & Public Holidays
Closed

There is flexibility around the sessions individual GPs choose to work.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for doctors who share our commitment to high-quality, patient-centred healthcare.

You will ideally:

- Hold Specialist Registration with AHPRA




- Have VR status
- Be committed to high-quality patient care
- Value continuity of care
- Enjoy building genuine doctor-patient relationships
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Value skilled autonomy
- Communicate with empathy and professionalism
- Have a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Be interested in building a long-term future within a growing practice

We welcome GPs with a broad range of clinical interests and are particularly interested in doctors who would like to develop or expand special interests within the practice.
