About the Role
This EL1 role sits at the centre of a major reform program, leading the analysis, design and implementation of policy initiatives. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll shape practical solutions, guide high-performing teams and help deliver a scheme that improves outcomes for people with disability across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery and implementation of reform projects across the organisation
- Analyse complex policy issues and present recommendations to a high standard
- Engage and negotiate with stakeholders to implement practical solutions
- Lead teams in developing high-quality policy and corporate documents
- Build and manage key stakeholder relationships across government
- Apply sound judgement to evaluate risk in a complex, evolving workplace
Skills & Experience
- Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving capability
- Proven leadership experience in strategic policy and reform
- Excellent written and verbal communication for a government audience
- Sound judgement, governance skills and adaptability to shifting priorities
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, lasting stakeholder relationships
- Experience leading policy development, data analysis and report writing
- Relevant bachelors or masters degree
Australian Citizenship and Baseline Clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
