About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Vending Technician to support our automated retail operations across mine sites in the Pilbara.

This is a DIDO role based in Port Hedland, making it an ideal opportunity for applicants currently living in Port Hedland or surrounding areas.

No previous vending experience is required. If you have worked in hospitality, village services, catering, retail, accommodation, food service or customer-facing roles, your transferable skills will set you up for success.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring vending machines remain fully stocked, clean, operational and ready to support site personnel. You will also assist with stock management, inventory control and basic machine troubleshooting.

What You'll Be Doing
Customer Service & Site Support

- Deliver outstanding customer service to mine site personnel.

- Build positive working relationships across site teams.

- Respond professionally to vending-related enquiries and requests.

- Monitor and report machine issues promptly.

- Maintain accurate records and communications through company systems.

Stock Replenishment & Operations

- Service and restock vending machines across designated sites.





- Ensure machines are clean, fully stocked and operating efficiently.

- Pick, pack and transport stock from storage and refrigerated areas.

- Rotate stock and manage product freshness to minimise wastage.

- Complete basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Inventory & Logistics

- Monitor stock levels using inventory management systems.

- Conduct regular stocktakes and inventory counts.

- Coordinate weekly stock orders.

- Receive, reconcile and organise deliveries.

- Maintain clean, organised and compliant storage areas.

- Accurately record stock movements and inventory transactions.

Safety & Compliance

- Participate in daily pre-starts and toolbox meetings.

- Follow all site safety, fatigue management and operational procedures.

- Complete required site inductions and ongoing training.

- Maintain accurate records in accordance with company requirements.

- Contribute to a positive safety culture on site.

Essential Requirements
