EOI - Assistant Commissioner Operational Capability

- Temporary Full Time - up to 12months
- Assistant Commissioner - Senior Executive Band 1 role
- Total Remuneration Package - $280,476 - $306,170
- Location - Greenacre

About the role:

The Assistant Commissioner sets the strategic direction and leads the development, planning and delivery of a platform for enhanced operational capability functions and activities across FRNSW. The role is accountable for specialist operational staff and resources and must ensure the provision of superior expert response advice and support for front-line firefighting operations.

About you:

- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary issues, challenges and approaches to emergency service and fire prevention, suppression and community resilience
- Sound knowledge of the current risk environment that exists for Fire Services within NSW and the ability to strategically plan and implement proactive strategies for both prevention and emergency response

Essential Requirements:

- Post graduate tertiary qualification in a related discipline and/or significant professional experience
- Emergency management qualifications to enable fulfilment of legislative requirements of role
