Osmoflo is a leading provider of water and wastewater treatment solutions, delivering innovative services across industrial, municipal and resource sectors throughout Australia and internationally.
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded person to join our Operations Leadership Team as Manager, Assets. This role is Adelaide Based in our Burton Facility. This is a technical leadership opportunity for a Professional who can combine strong Engineering, Asset Management and Operational expertise with exceptional people leadership to support the continued growth of our Operations & Maintenance business.
Reporting to the General Manager, Operations, this role has responsibility for the leadership and strategic direction of Osmoflo's Asset Management Team including Asset Management, Maintenance Planning, Control Centre and Process Engineering functions.
About the Role
As Manager, Assets, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient and commercially successful operation of Osmoflo's operational support services.
You will lead multidisciplinary teams across:
- Asset Management
- Maintenance Planning
- Control Centre Operations
- Process Engineering Services
Working closely with Operations Managers, Engineering teams and Executive Leadership, you will drive asset performance, operational improvements, customer satisfaction and business growth initiatives across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a high-performing National Assets team
- Promoting a strong safety-first culture across all operations
- Driving strategic Asset Management initiatives aligned to ISO55001 principles
- Overseeing remote monitoring and operational support services through the Control Centre
- Providing Engineering leadership and technical support to operational sites
- Delivering annual strategic plans, budgets and performance objectives
- Managing financial performance, resource forecasting and operational reporting
- Supporting business development activities and client engagement opportunities
- Championing continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence
- Representing Osmoflo with key clients, equipment suppliers and industry stakeholders
- Deputising for the General Manager, Operations when required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Essential
- Degree qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline
- 10 - 15 years' leadership experience within water, utilities, mining, oil & gas, industrial services or related sectors
- Solid experience leading technical and operational teams
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with responsibility for budgets, financial performance and executive reporting
- Experience in strategic planning, governance and organisational improvement
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities
- Ability to travel interstate and internationally as required
Highly Regarded
- Qualifications in Business Management
- Chartered Engineer with recognised Asset Management accreditation
- Working knowledge of ISO55001 Asset Management Systems
- Incident management training and experience
