Tired of chasing short contracts? This one's built to last. Ready Resources is recruiting an experienced Heavy Duty Fitter with genuine OEM crushing and screening experience for a long-term maintenance role, keeping a mobile crushing fleet running at full capacity on a genuine 2/1 roster.
THE FLEET
You'll be hands-on across the following gear:
- Metso Mobile Jaw Crusher (LT120)
- Metso Mobile Cone Crushers (LT300HP & LT300GP)
- Metso Mobile Screening Plant (ST4.8) and ST620 Mobile Screen
- Metso CT3.2 Mobile Conveyor
- McCloskey R230 Mobile Screening Reclaimer
- McCloskey TS4065 Track Mounted Conveyor
- Telestack TC424X Tracked Stackers (x2)
- Terex Finlay 883+ Reclaimer
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Servicing, inspecting and repairing mechanical systems across the crushing and screening plant
- Diagnosing faults and completing timely, accurate repairs to minimise downtime
- Conducting technical inspections, job estimations and Risk Assessments
- Sourcing parts and maintaining accurate maintenance records
- Working alongside Electricians, Boilermakers and Servicepersons in a close-knit maintenance crew
- Coaching and mentoring apprentices and less experienced tradespeople on the job
- Keeping safety and quality standards front and centre, every shift

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Hands-on OEM crushing and screening experience is a MUST — Metso, McCloskey, Terex Finlay or similar
- The ability to coach and mentor other tradespeople and apprentices — experienced trainers, assessors or ex-TAFE lecturers are strongly encouraged to apply
- Heavy Duty Mechanic, Fitter or Diesel Fitter trade certificate
- Minimum 2 years' post-trade experience in mining or heavy earthmoving
- Class 'HR' licence (or equivalent)
- Solid computer skills for diagnostics and reporting

- WorkSafe tickets (EWP, LF, CN)
- Confined Space and Working at Heights certificates
- ARTIC air-conditioning accreditation
- First Aid certificate
