Staff Specialist – General Medicine | Regional NSW
Permanent full-time specialist position
Indicative remuneration of $270,247–$333,491 per annum plus superannuation

CC Medical is seeking an experienced Staff Specialist in General Medicine to join a major regional referral hospital in New South Wales.

The Prospect
As a Staff Specialist in General Medicine, you will provide comprehensive, evidence-based inpatient and outpatient care within a well-established regional health service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality inpatient and outpatient General Medicine services
- Managing a broad range of acute and complex medical presentations
- Providing clinical leadership, consultation and specialist advice
- Supervising junior medical officers and other healthcare professionals
- Contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate education
- Participating in clinical governance, quality improvement and risk-management activities
- Supporting the ongoing development of safe, patient-centred services
- Participating in the General Medicine on-call roster

About You
To be considered, applicants should hold:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in General and Acute Care Medicine, or an equivalent specialist qualification
- Specialist registration, or eligibility for specialist registration, with the Medical Board of Australia through AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality General Medicine services
- Strong communication, teamwork and clinical leadership capabilities
- A commitment to education, clinical governance and continuous quality improvement
