Modern Trailers is a leading Australian trailer manufacturer seeking an experienced and motivated Welder / Fabricator to join our growing team in Lonsdale.

About the Role
You will be involved in the fabrication and welding of trailers and trailer components, working with a variety of materials and workshop equipment to produce high-quality finished products. The pay rate will be based on your skills, experience and level of competency.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in MIG welding
- Ability to weld sheet metal and tube from 1mm to 8mm thickness
- Experience operating:
- Pan folders
- Guillotines
- Plasma cutters
- Band saws
- Competent in the use of electrical and pneumatic tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent organisational skills and adaptability
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
Desirable
- Forklift licence
- Experience in trailer, transport, automotive, or general fabrication industries
