We are seeking an experienced B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to support ongoing Q400 maintenance in Sydney.
Working within a skilled line maintenance environment, you will perform scheduled and unscheduled mechanical maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, defect rectification and component replacement while ensuring compliance with CASA regulations and company procedures.
This is a permanent Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night shift position for an initial 12-month period. Candidates must already be Sydney-based, with no relocation assistance or FIFO available. An August commencement, or as soon as onboarding is completed, is preferred.
You will
- Perform line maintenance on the Dash 8 Q400 fleet
- Troubleshoot and rectify aircraft defects
- Complete inspections, repairs and component installations
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation
- Work safely within a regulated operational environment
- Collaborate closely with engineering and maintenance teams
