A warehouse role working with the Operations Coordinator and Operations Manager to ensure material levels are maintained to a minimum, involving material pickups from key suppliers, forklift operation for loading, unloading and safe storage of palletised material, and general warehouse duties.
Key responsibilities
- Work with the Operations Coordinator and Operations Manager to ensure material levels maintained to a minimum
- Material pickups from key suppliers in MR truck
- Forklift driver for loading and unloading trucks
- Forklift driver for safe storage and movement of palletised material
- Monthly warehouse stock take
- Alert the Operations Coordinator in maintaining stock levels of essential supplies e.g forklift gas bottles, aggregate and other critical materials
- Maintain the bins and empty them as required
- Making samples
- Maintain an efficient warehouse and packing space
- Report any faults or issues with material handling equipment to the Operations Manager
About you
- Forklift licence and HR (auto at a minimum) is a must
- Compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements
- Ensure a safe working setting and compliance with all state and federal legislation covering workplace safety
