BPA Early Learning operates 34 kindergartens and long day care centres across western Melbourne, supporting children and families in some of the region’s most diverse communities.
We are looking for a passionate cook to join our long day care centre at Delahey on a part time basis, who enjoy presentation of food and nutritious meals that make a difference in Children’s lives. Be a part of Children wellbeing by preparing fresh, delicious meals in a safe and welcoming environment.
We’d love to hear from you:
· Ability to cater for dietary needs, medical conditions and follow high standards of food safety.
· Develop seasonal menus aligned with Nutrition Australian guidelines.
· Order food supplies and managing stock levels.
· Work collaboratively with educators to support healthy eating practices and special centre events.
· Maintain accurate kitchen records, including leaning schedules, food temperatures and allergy management documentation.
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Level 2)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
- Current Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- Full working rights in Australia.
Desirable
- Experience working in a childcare, kindergarten, School, hospitality or aged care setting
- Understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards.

Roster: 52 hours Fortnightly Monday to Friday- Shift Commence- 8:30am to 1:30pm or 2:00pm
