Star Street Medical Centre is a busy, well-established general practice in Macksville, and we're looking for a caring, enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our friendly team.
About the Role
This is a permanent part-time position, working 4 days per week. You'll be involved in a broad range of clinical nursing duties, including:
- Wound care and suture removal
- Immunisations and injections
- ECGs, spirometry and ABPIs
- Iron infusions and venesections
- Assisting with in-room procedures
- Chronic disease management, including health assessments and care plan preparation
About You
- Registered Nurse preferred (Enrolled Nurses are welcome to apply)
- Nurse Immuniser qualification preferred — training support provided if not already qualified
- Compassionate,
organised, and able to thrive in a busy setting
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a supportive team
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- Confident using computers and learning new systems
- General practice experience is an advantage but not essential
