This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys undertaking a broad variety of tasks and who is proactive, commercially minded and can make things happen. You would work autonomously but collaboratively with directors on the ongoing development of the business and other members of the team.
Key responsibilities and requirements of the role include:
- possessing an accounting degree or substantial finance/accounts management experience;
- managing the day to day operations of the business and the team
- preparation and analysis of financial documents, budgets, forecasts and cash flow management
- experience with trust accounting
- tax and legal compliance reporting
- experience in business or office management, including payroll and human resources
- overseeing our practice management and IT systems
- liaising with the company accountants, IT contractors, other service providers and stakeholders
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- demonstrated ability managing people
- excellent interpersonal skills with a positive mind-set
