About us

Norté is built around fire. Our custom hearth sits at the heart of the restaurant, with the kitchen wrapped around it and the patio opening out beyond. It’s where wood-fired heat brings another layer to the food, and where you can watch the chefs work the flames, hear the crackle of the wood and smell something charring before it reaches the table.

Fire is central to cooking across Latin America, but so is the idea of generosity. Food is made to be shared, passed around and enjoyed together, with a little theatre along the way. At Norté, that might mean crab churros, crispy beef tostadas, short rib cooked al pastor or Moreton Bay bug tacos with pineapple and a spice kick – all dishes that draw on traditional flavours and techniques, while making the most of Queensland produce and the ingredients around us.

Upstairs from Norté, Sueño has its own rhythm. Wander up the red stairs and you’ll find a rooftop under open skies,



salt-washed umbrellas and a welcome ocean breeze.

Arrive in the afternoon, when the sun is high and the margaritas are cold, and stay for the moment when the sky turns pink and the night really begins.

- Experienced FOH professionals with a genuine passion for hospitality

- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails (or the eagerness to learn)

- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

- Team players who bring energy, personality, and professionalism to the floor or bar

- Floor Managers who lead by example and focus on elevating guest experience through great team work
