About Lantrak

For over 65 years, Lantrak has been a trusted industry leader in materials management, material supply and disposal, truck hire and plant hire solutions.

Operating across Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales, we partner with leading contractors and developers to deliver practical, commercially focused solutions across civil construction, commercial developments and major infrastructure projects.

About the Role

We are seeking a driven Sales Representative to join Lantrak's Environmental division, managing and developing key client accounts across Queensland.

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager – Environmental, you will become a key point of contact for our clients, building strong relationships with contractors, developers, builders, consultants and other industry stakeholders.

You will stay across current and upcoming projects, identify contaminated material, disposal and transport opportunities within your client base and work closely with Lantrak's operational and commercial teams to develop practical and commercially sound solutions.

This is a hands-on role that combines account management, client relationships and project-based sales. You will regularly meet with clients, visit sites, manage enquiries and quotations and remain involved in opportunities from initial enquiry through to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a key point of contact for Environmental clients and their project requirements.

- Stay across current and upcoming construction, remediation, demolition and infrastructure projects.

- Maintain an active presence across client sites, meetings and industry networks.

- Manage environmental and contaminated material enquiries and gather the project information required to develop a solution.

- Understand client requirements, material types, project volumes, timeframes and site requirements.

- Liaise with facilities to confirm suitable options and material acceptance.

- Prepare and follow up quotations, proposals and tender opportunities.

- Negotiate rates and commercial conditions while maintaining project profitability.

- Work closely with operations to communicate job requirements, project timeframes, disposal locations and resource needs.

- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, project information, quotations and client activity within the CRM.

- Monitor active projects, maintain regular client communication and identify further opportunities as they arise.

- Support the Business Unit Manager with client growth and new opportunities across the Environmental division.

About You

You are commercially minded, proactive, detailed orientated and comfortable developing strong relationships across the construction and environmental sectors.

You enjoy being client-facing, understand the importance of following opportunities through and are comfortable managing multiple clients, projects and enquiries at different stages.

You will ideally have:

- Previous sales, account management,

estimating or project-based experience within environmental services, waste, civil construction, earthworks, remediation, demolition, transport, quarry materials or a related industry.

- Strong knowledge of, or experience within, the construction and infrastructure sectors.

- A demonstrated ability to manage and grow client relationships.

- Solid communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.

- Sound commercial judgement and confidence discussing rates and project requirements.

- The ability to understand project information and develop practical solutions for clients.

- Strong organisation, time management, attention to detail and follow-up skills.

- The ability to work effectively with clients, facilities, operational and commercial teams.

- Confidence using CRM systems to manage pipelines, quotations and client activity.

- A current Australian driver's licence.

Experience within contaminated materials, waste, remediation or environmental services will be highly regarded.

What We Offer

- A specialist role within an established Australian business.

- The opportunity to take ownership of key client relationships.

- Exposure to major civil construction, remediation, commercial development and infrastructure projects.

- Support from experienced environmental, commercial and operational teams.

- The opportunity to develop specialist industry knowledge and grow with an expanding Environmental division.
