MW Civil & Earthmoving is seeking experienced transmission line personnel for upcoming works on a major transmission infrastructure project in Western Australia.
We are looking to build a strong, experienced crew capable of mobilising at short notice
Roles Required
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from:
- Riggers
- Transmission Linesmen / Linespersons
- Mechanical Fitters
- Tower Erection Personnel
- Steel Erection Crews
- Transmission Construction Personnel
- Other experienced personnel with overhead transmission line experience
About the Role
You will form part of an experienced transmission construction team supporting the delivery of major overhead transmission infrastructure.
Depending on your discipline, responsibilities may include:
- Steel transmission tower assembly and erection
- Tower erection and associated rigging activities
- Stub setting and structural installation
- Conductor stringing, sagging and clipping
- Installation of transmission line hardware and fittings
- Mechanical assembly and installation works
- Supporting transmission line construction activities
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Working safely around cranes, lifting operations and heavy equipment
- Completing works in accordance with project, safety and quality requirements
- Working collaboratively within a high-performing construction crew
About You
We are looking for people with demonstrated experience working on transmission line,
power infrastructure or similar major construction projects.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous overhead transmission line construction experience
- Experience in tower erection, rigging, stringing or associated transmission works
- Relevant trade qualifications or high-risk work licences applicable to your position
- Construction White Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- Strong understanding of site safety and construction requirements
- Ability to work effectively within a project-based crew
- Ability to mobilise at short notice
Linespersons holding Certificate III ESI – Transmission Overhead (UET30621) or an equivalent qualification are encouraged to apply.
