My Repairbuild is a well-established building repair specialist working directly with homeowners, Body Corporates and Property Managers across South East Queensland.

We specialise in identifying defective building work, investigating the cause of building damage and providing practical repair solutions. Our projects include repairs relating to defective workmanship, termite damage, impact damage, long-term timber rot, water ingress and general building deterioration.

We also undertake bathroom renovations and smaller residential renovation projects, so no two days are the same.

We are currently looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team.

What You Will Be Doing

- Attending residential properties and Body Corporate sites to inspect building issues

- Identifying defects, damage and potential causes

- Reviewing reports, photographs, plans and other supporting documentation

- Preparing detailed scopes of work and accurate quotations

- Liaising with homeowners, Body Corporates, Property Managers and trades

- Obtaining and reviewing subcontractor pricing

- Working with our team to develop practical and cost-effective repair solutions

- Following up quotations and assisting with converting approved works into projects

About You

We are looking for someone who has building industry experience and can confidently assess building issues and understand how repairs should be carried out.

You will ideally have:

- Experience in estimating, building, construction or a similar role

- Good knowledge of residential construction and building repairs

- Robust attention to detail

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- The ability to read plans, reports and scopes of work

- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems

- The confidence to attend sites and communicate professionally with clients and trades

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs at different stages

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is practical, reliable,



organised and takes pride in producing accurate, qualified work.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the building industry but is looking to move away from being on the tools and into a role that combines site inspections, problem solving, estimating and client interaction.

Role Responsibilities:

- Organise your own time and appointments in a timely and structured manner.

- Accurately gather and record job information on site for estimating repairs, ensuring all information to quote accurately is recorded.

- Utilise industry-leading PrimeEcoSystem Cloud based platform.

- Develop detailed Scope of Works for the economical and effective repair of all building issues.

- Apply costs to the Scope of Works using rates provided and communicating affectively with subcontractors.

- Deliver exceptional customer service through timely scheduling, effective communication and relationship-building.

- Monday to Friday role with an extremely rare requirement for out of hours work if required by a customer.
