About the Role
As an Australian Defence Force partner, Ventia works with some of Australia's newest and most unique equipment, including artillery, small arms, instruments, night vision equipment, high-tech armoured vehicles, personnel carriers and propulsion equipment.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our team at Robertson Barracks, Darwin NT. In this role, you will conduct routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on a diverse range of military vehicles and equipment, including 4WDs, trucks, plant equipment and armoured vehicles.

This is a permanent full-time prospect offering 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an early finish every Friday.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform maintenance tasks including inspections, classification, diagnostics and repairs on light,
medium and heavy vehicles and plant equipment.
- Complete servicing activities during scheduled maintenance periods.
- Diagnose faults and repair or replace damaged and malfunctioning components.
- Perform technical repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
- Adhere to all regulatory, Defence and contract-specific requirements.
About You
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience working on heavy commercial vehicles (essential).
- Demonstrated ability and practical experience inspecting, repairing and maintaining light, medium and/or heavy vehicles.
- MR, HR or HC driver's licence (desirable).
You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance.
