Our client is an industry leader and household name within the energy sector. Due to growth we're seeking a qualified and experienced HVAC Technician or Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, fault finding, repair, and preventative maintenance of residential, commercial, and industrial air conditioning and refrigeration systems. This role requires strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to deliver high-quality customer service.

The role:

- Installation
- Install air conditioning and HVAC systems including split systems, multi-split systems, ducted systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
- Install electrical wiring, controls, and associated components in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Commission and test newly installed HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Service & Maintenance
- Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on air conditioning and HVAC systems.
- Inspect equipment and identify maintenance requirements before failures occur.
- Clean, adjust, and replace components such as filters, motors, belts, contactors, capacitors, and control systems.
- Complete maintenance reports and service documentation accurately.

Fault Finding & Repairs
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults.




- Repair or replace defective components and equipment.
- Troubleshoot control circuits, sensors, motors, compressors, and other HVAC-related systems.
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency service requests as required.

Compliance & Safety
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC regulations and standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and serviceable condition.
- Participate in toolbox meetings and ongoing safety initiatives.

Customer Service
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service requirements and recommendations.
- Provide skilled and courteous service at all times.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and colleagues.

What we're looking for:

- Qualified HVAC Technician, Refrigeration Mechanic, Electrician or dual trade qualification.
- Current Electrical License.
- Experience installing, servicing, and maintaining air conditioning and HVAC systems.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Current driver's licence.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.




- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Desirable

- Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARC Tick Licence).
- Working at Heights certification.
- EWP, White Card, or other relevant industry certifications.
