- Perform regular bank, supplier, customer and general ledger reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end processes, including journals, accruals, reconciliations and reporting.
- Maintain accurate financial records across a range of operational transactions and business activities.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers and customers to resolve financial and transactional queries, while providing broader finance and administrative support as required.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting, data analysis and process improvement initiatives to support the efficiency and accuracy of the finance function.
You Will Ideally Have
- Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer or similar role.
- Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience.
- Experience with bank, supplier, customer and general ledger reconciliations.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with a range of stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider finance team.
- A proactive approach to identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills will be highly regarded.
Why This Role
- Up to $45 per hour, depending on experience.
- Potential for permanency for the right person.
- Flexible working arrangements on offer.
- Opportunity to work within a prominent Western Australian organization.
- Broad exposure across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations and month-end activities.
- Opportunity to contribute to process improvement and broader finance initiatives.
- Immediate start or short notice preferred.
If you are an experienced Finance Officer looking for your next opportunity and are available immediately or on short notice, we would love to hear from you.
