About the role

GSE Security NT is seeking a highly motivated Security Technician to become an integral member of our team. Reporting directly to management, you will be part of a team responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of electronic security and communications systems throughout the Northern Territory for our clients. This role presents an excellent prospect to remain at the forefront of the security industry, with exposure to modern technologies and systems, along with opportunities for ongoing manufacturer training and industry certifications.

Key responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electronic security systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electronic security systems.
- Conduct regular system checks and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
- Complete job sheets and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Work remotely from time to time.

About you





- Experience within the electronic security installation industry.
- Open cabler's license (ACMA).
- White Card.
- Working with Children Card.
- Be eligible to obtain a police clearance.
- Certification's or experience on Inner Range, ICT Protégé, Gallagher SMB, Tecom Aritech and commercial CCTV manufactures such as Hikvision and Dahua.
- Willingness to fly remote and service the outer NT region.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Valid driver's license.
