- Permanent Full time Role
- Approximately 30-38 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
- Immediate start with all training provided!
About You and the Role
Do you have previous experience working with hand tools and consider yourself a positive handyperson?
Are you a physically fit, enthusiastic, and reliable person with a keen eye for detail?
Assisting the leading hand, this position will suit someone who is familiar with sanding and filling, spray painting, masking and cabinetry.
Do you have a driver’s licence and your own reliable transport?
If Yes, Then this is a great position for you!
Key work tasks will include:
- Site preparation, masking rooms ready to paint, setup & pack down equipment, and cleaning
- Sanding cabinet doors, drawers, and panels
- Silicone removal and installation of new silicones
- Installing and adjusting new hinges and handles

Resurfacing Cairns specialises in resurfacing kitchens, bathrooms, and laundries without altering the physical dimensions of the structures. We spray paint bench tops, cabinets & splash back tiles onsite in our clients homes. We can also change handles and install brushed aluminium kickboards to modernise kitchens!
We are a locally owned and operated business servicing the Cairns region from Palm Cove to Gordonvale.
