About the Position:

• 7/7 roster, Variable Day Shift or Variable Night Shift, working 12-hour shifts

• Lead and supervise the onsite tyre service team while acting as the key point of contact in the absence of the Site Team Leader

• Manage day-to-day operational relationships with the client and ensure contractual KPIs are achieved

• Prioritise and coordinate daily work activities to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective operations

• Perform all aspects of LV, HV and OTR tyre fitting as required

• Maintain accurate tyre maintenance data and ensure timely entry into the Computerized Tyre Maintenance Management System (CTMMS)

• Oversee stock control of tyres, rims and workshop consumables

• Conduct safety inspections, equipment audits, hazard investigations and ensure compliance with all Kal Tire and site procedures

• Facilitate toolbox meetings, safety briefings and operational updates





• Mentor and support team members while promoting Kal Tire's Journey to Zero philosophy

This is a full time, permanent position based at Middlemount Mine, offered FIFO from Brisbane or DIDO from Mackay.

About You:

• Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing with OTR Tyre Maintenance Competencies

• Minimum 1–2 years' experience in heavy earthmover tyre fitting

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a mining or heavy industry environment

• Current HRWL/LF and valid Driver's Licence (heavy vehicle licence advantageous)

• Moderate computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and maintenance management systems

• Strong safety focus with sound knowledge of OHS practices and procedures

• Excellent communication skills with a proactive, can-do attitude

• Ability to work autonomously while leading a high-performing team

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
