An excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator looking to take the next step in their career with an established mid-tier commercial builder that has been delivering projects across WA for over 15 years.

With a strong pipeline of work and an experienced team, the business offers the opportunity to develop your estimating career while gaining greater autonomy and ownership of tenders.

Traditionally strong across multi-residential and apartment developments, the business is continuing to diversify its portfolio across broader commercial sectors, delivering projects valued up to $100M across ECI and D&C;.

Importantly, this isn't a role where you'll be stuck at the same level. For the right individual, there is a genuine pathway to progress through to Estimating Manager.

The Role

Working alongside an experienced and supportive estimating and leadership team, you will be given the opportunity to progressively take greater ownership of tenders from initial review through to submission and handover.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Preparing estimates and tenders across commercial construction projects
- Completing detailed take-offs, measurement and cost planning
- Preparing scopes of work and trade packages
- Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Reviewing tender documentation and identifying scope gaps and risks
- Assisting with buildability reviews and value-engineering opportunities
- Working across ECI and D&C; preconstruction phases
- Preparing tender submissions, qualifications and clarifications
- Developing and maintaining strong subcontractor and supplier relationships

About You

You will ideally have:

- Previous estimating experience within a commercial head contractor environment
- Multi-residential, apartment and/or mixed-use commercial experience on projects valued $10M+
- A good understanding of construction methodology,



tendering and commercial construction costs
- Experience with take-offs, scopes, subcontractor pricing and tender preparation
- The ability and ambition to progressively take greater ownership of tenders
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Good communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident working both autonomously and within a team
- Full working rights in Australia (essential)
- You will need to relocate to Perth, WA (no remote working options available)
