Restaurant manager – Part-Time OR Full-Time

Tuesday to Saturday | Ainslie, Canberra

Upstairs from Edgar's Pub in Ainslie sits The Inn.. a cosy neighbourhood restaurant where everything is cooked over fire on our Asado grill. We work with outstanding local produce, pour wines we're proud of, and deliver thoughtful, genuine service that feels as good as it tastes.

Do you believe a good meal can change the course of someone's night? maybe even their week?

This isn't soulless chain hospitality. It's the real stuff: local producers who give a damn, wine that tells a story, and a team small enough to have each other's backs and sharp enough to make service hum. We trade dinners Tuesday to Saturday, with a lazy Saturday lunch thrown in for good measure.

The Role

We're looking for someone to join our well established management team and ready to take real ownership of the floor. Someone steady, reliable, and calm under pressure. Wine knowledge is a bonus, but your ability to lead by example and bring confidence to the room matters most.

- Full-time OR part time

- Tuesday to Saturday evenings most common, typically 4pm–11pm

- Friday and Saturday nights are a must.

We're Looking for Someone Who:

- Has solid experience in section service, ideally with supervisory or leadership background

- Is mature, calm under pressure, and confident leading a service

- Has strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

- Is keen to be part of a values-driven, community-minded venue

- Brings some wine knowledge, or a genuine willingness to learn
