You will take ownership of the cabinetry side of our projects, from measuring through to installation. When the cabinetry side is under control, you'll jump in and work alongside our construction team. Depending on your experience and where you're needed, this could include framing, cladding, flooring, general carpentry, material ordering and organising, assisting the Construction Manager, and general construction and factory duties.
Key responsibilities
- Measuring cabinetry requirements
- Reading plans and confirming dimensions
- Ordering cabinetry through preferred suppliers
- Managing cabinetry orders and deliveries
- Building and assembling cabinetry from cut-to-size components
- Installing kitchens, vanities, robes and other cabinetry
- Coordinating with the team to book stone templating and installation
- Working with the Construction Manager to keep projects moving
- Ensuring cabinetry is completed correctly and to a high standard
About you
- A qualified and experienced Cabinet Maker
- Confident reading plans and working from drawings
- Experienced in measuring, ordering and installing cabinetry
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your work
- Practical and switched-on
- Quality focused
- Reliable and organised
- A good communicator
- Happy to get involved outside of your main trade
- Experienced in carpentry or general construction, or keen to develop these skills
